Director, Planning, Management & Budget: Arlington County School Board
1973 – 1982 (9 years) Arlington, Virginia
Developed and managed an annual process for determining priorities, establishing plans of action to achieve objectives, and assessing and reporting results. Managed the preparation and reporting of a multi-million-dollar budget during periods of expansion as well as retrenchment. Prior to the PMB Director position he held the positions of Coordinator Media Services & Educational Technology, Coordinator of State & Federal Programs and Staff Development, and Management Analyst for the School Board.
